I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Burbank, CA) in Dec 2012
Interview
The Interview Process consisted of interviews with four different people over two visits to the Disney Studio Lot (about 7 or 8 days apart), near the end of the year before the holidays.
The first visit involved meeting with a member of human resources and the manager who I would technically be working for, as I was contracted by Disney through this company. The HR interview was very straightforward and fairly brief, only lasted about 15 minutes. I then met with my eventual manager for the sales and marketing company that would (technically) later employ me and contract me to Disney, but the manager within that company had little involvement with the role I was interviewing for, and limited knowledge of the actual functionality of the position, so this was another straightforward, fairly brief meeting intended to evaluate my character.
The second visit to the Disney Studio Lot first involved a meeting with the employee currently in the position I was interviewing for, as he was transferring into another position within the department but would be training me to replace him. This was actually quite a fun and friendly interview, and he made sure that my technical abilities surpassed the requirements and expectations needed to perform the position with proficiency, but otherwise ended up having a nice conversation about what it was like to work on the Studio Lot. My final interview was with my Superior who I would be working under with Disney. This interview was much more difficult and I walked out believing that I would not be hired.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The first two interviews were very standard reviews of my previous experience and technical ability, to make sure my experience was somewhat relevant to the functions performed by this role and to establish that my credentials seemed authentic.
The third interviewer made sure that my technical skills were relevant to the functions he performed in that same role, and took me through some of the recurring or routine projects he worked on to ensure I had experience that would prove relevant and that i was able understood the tasks thoroughly and develop a solid approach and strategy for completing them effectively.
The final meeting with my eventual superior at Disney seemed a bit rough - he dug quite a bit into my prior work history, asked a lot of questions about whether I had experience with particular systems or applications that were primarily used for this position (which I did not), and seemed to dig more into the ways that my previous experience was not relevant to the expected duties of the position, than to he was interested in exploring the ways that my experience would serve to benefit the role. He really dug into some of the specifics of the open role for which my previous experience was not particularly relevant, and focused on highlighting differences between my past experience and the expectations of the position. I remember walking out and feeling fairly certain I would not be offered the role.
The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company
Interview
I went through 5 rounds of 45-minute sessions, then a final round with the VP. The whole process took nearly two months, only to be ghosted in the end after sending multiple follow-ups. Very disrespectful to their candidates, and clearly not something you would expect from a company like Disney.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Londres, Inglaterra) in May 2025
Interview
Performed with the utmost rush on their side, but would then wait weeks between rounds for updates. The team seemed stressed and stretched thin- I'd already received another offer by the time I completed round 2 and was prepared to resign from the interview process, but the company then ghosted me. Overall a very negative experience for such a big company with a reputation to uphold.

Question 1
How would you create a sales package for the Christmas period?
The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Singapur) in May 2024
Interview
Phone call with HR, asks about your current pay but does not ask for your expected pay. Had 2 rounds with hiring manager, 1 round as a vibe and experience check, 2nd to present a task given to complete over 5 work days and 3rd interview with other key stakeholder. Friendly and reasonable interviewers. Despite going through multiple rounds and having invested close to 2 months into the interview process - the HR had ghosted me despite several follow ups. This was unexpected and disappointing. Even if there was no offer, I would have appreciated closure, especially having invested so much time into the overall process
