I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company in Aug 2013
Interview
The first time I applied to Disneyland, I had applied for a Quick Service Restaurant position, and about a month later, I received an email basically saying that they did not need me for that position. And then about a month after receiving that email, I got another email asking me to do an online interview. So I jumped online to complete it, and it just essentially asked questions about what I would do in certain situations, etc. Then it prompted me to schedule an interview where I'd go in and meet with someone. They asked me normal interview questions such as, "Why do you want to work here?" and "Tell me about your last Disney experience!" Just basic stuff.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
One of the most difficult questions my interviewer asked me was "Why do you want to work for Disneyland?" And it was difficult because I didn't want to give a "typical" or "cliche" answer. Coming up with a unique answer was probably the most difficult, to me at least.
Group interview with a number of different applicants, going through possible scenarios with customers and asked to sell products to an imaginary customer using selling strategies etc to encourage them to buy it
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Aberdeen, Escocia)
Interview
I had a group interview, we all sat around a table and were asked both individual questions and worked in groups with management walking around listening to us,
It was pretty laid back
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walt Disney Company (Orlando, FL)
Interview
The process was smooth from start to finish. I received clear instructions ahead of time, and the interviewer was kind, professional, and genuinely interested in getting to know me. The interview felt more like a conversation than a test, which really helped calm my nerves.
