Interview
Applied online. Half a week later got a call for an interview. Interview at 10 am at the store. Met the department manager for an interview. Asked 2 questions. Then came back in the afternoon for another interview with the store manager. Asked about work experience then go over job description and signed the paperwork. Then do background check and drug screen. It was pretty simple and easy.

I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Walmart (Gainesville, FL) in Jan 2011
Interview
All interviews are in a standardized format with questions preselected by higher-ups. This is a good way to keep the interviews focused, however this is not always the best way to find out what you really need to know before hiring someone. Overall this was a very streamlined interview process amd quite easy to understand and get through.
