I applied online. I interviewed at Walmart (Kingston, ON) in Aug 2017
Interview
Contacted by phone, asked about job position wanted, availability, transportation, and 3 hypothetical situation questions, asked to come in for group interview taking place in a few days.
There were three applicants at the group interview. A senior manager did an introduction and then we went to a panel of 3 employee interviewers, one at a time, who asked hypothetical situation questions and "a time when you resolved a conflict". Next we were asked by the senior manager to answer one thing Walmart can do for us, and one thing we can do for Walmart. All applicants seemed unprepared for this question and struggled a bit with it.
The following week I was called to come in for a final interview. It was one on one with a manager. They asked: "Tell me about yourself." "What interests you about working at Walmart." "What are your skills and qualifications for the position you are applying for." It was very brief, lasting about 5 minutes for me, but the length will depend on how thorough your answers are.
I am still waiting to hear back.
