I applied for a Receptionist position for their Institute in Varese. I wasn't honestly 100% sure about the role, but I tried anyway. So the first interview went ok, even though they didn't tell me what the salary would be, but just suggested looking it up on Google (yeah what????). They told me they needed someone urgently and asked if I was willing to quit the 4-weeks Marketing course I was attending to start as soon as possible. I told them no, since I only had one week to go, and we decided on the date for a second interview. The second time I went there, the girl at the reception tried to have me retake an English test I had already taken; when I pointed that out, she told me very candidly that the person who was supposed to interview me was sick (and of course nobody had bothered to send me an email or call me to let me know) and asked me if I wanted to reschedule. So we did, and a couple of days later a different person calls me to ask me if I wanted to set up another interview – they didn’t even know I had already decided on another date with the receptionist the first time. Unbelievable.
They had me come back two other times, and just on the fourth try they actually talked about the salary. At that point we had been going on for like 3 weeks and it was just me and another candidate. Since it was “urgent” they told me they were going to get back at me whether they decided yes or no, as they had already wasted so much of my time. So I waited for two weeks for their decision before realizing they had probably just chosen someone else – which would have been totally fine if they’d at least told me.
They are honestly the most unorganized and unprofessional company I've ever applied to. g
