A meeting with hiring managers, a separate coding interview, a final interview with the team.
I was told the coding interview would be focused on JavaScript so I brushed up on that. The interview started with asking 3-4 questions on CSS then they asked what the R in REST API meant and some other JavaScript questions. The second half was a node based coding exercise.
I marked negative but I'm obviously biased and there could be any number of reasons I didn't get a call back, however, the quiz section of the coding exercise was frustrating. The first half felt more like a quiz that in a practical sense I would have just googled. The coding portion I enjoyed because I could discuss my thoughts and ideas on how to solve the problem.
