I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at WTW (Philadelphia, PA) in Jun 2019
Interview
I applied online, and had a phone interview with the recruiter. She was very professional and formal in her email correspondence, but not as much during the phone interview.
I spend about 30-60 seconds answering questions, sometimes a bit longer, as required. This interviewer interrupted me on every question, which was frustrating. I listened without interrupting as she spent a good 5+ minutes talking about the role, and then a few more minutes talking about the company.
The interview lasted about 20-25 minutes. The questions themselves were easy, though her continuous interrupting didn't help, and made me lose my train of thought a few times.
A few days later, I received an automated email from the Recruiter that the Hiring Manager decided to choose other candidates. I appreciated hearing that response.
Willis Towers Watson, please train your recruiters to conduct phone interviews more patiently. I understand some candidates may ramble, but there's no need to interrupt every single 30-60 second response to a question!
