I applied in-person. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Las Vegas, NV) in Jan 2016
Interview
I applied in person and was told to come in for a group interview in two days. There were 12 of us in the group interview, which is too many. The questions were not hard, pretty relevant and similar to what any employer would ask. They will check your references!

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you worked as a team to reach a goal
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret in Oct 2009
Interview
My hiring process was very quick. I picked up an application, returned it, and interviewed all in the same day. I think the process might have changed a bit since then but I had an offer within a few hours of my interview. Nothing too difficult was asked. Standard retail questions such as dealing with rude customers or what would you do in a situation.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (San Jose, CA) in Aug 2012
Interview
I was referred by a fellow employee to get an interview at Victoria's Secret. After handing my application specifically to the hiring manager, I received a call for an interview in a week and a half. It's a group interview of usually 3 or so; one person didn't show up so it ended up a 2 on 1 interview. It was done outside in the food court, forcing the candidates to show how outgoing and how they present themselves. Basic questions like why VS, what's our customer looking for, what can you contribute? Also, what's your availability like (holidays are needed to be open..at least during the interview, you don't want to hinder your chances by already asking for days off). Since it is a group interview, we were given the freedom to answer when we wanted to - it helps to go first if you can feel the other candidates (hesisitating), but the manager will also try to alternate. Got a call back within five days with a job offer and a date to begin training.
Make sure to wear all black (store uniform) and emphasize customer service orientation.
