I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret in May 2013
Interview
I had a group interview with another person, on a bench right in front of store. It is very typical for VS to have group interviews in the food court, outside benches or in the backroom. Management was extremely friendly and focused on asking questions about how I could serve "her" ( the female customer). I was called with an offer of employment only 3 hours after my interview.

Question 1
The hiring manager asked open ended questions to find out what I knew about the entire company and what I most liked about VS.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
