I applied in person to Victoria's Secret at Pentagon City Mall. A few weeks later I received a call to come in and interview. The interview was in a back room of the store, and there were about 7 other girls in attendance for the interview as well. The supervisor interviewing us was about 15 minutes late. And there was barely enough space for all of us to sit within the room. The supervisor reviewed our applications and asked us what position we wanted to interview for. If you wanted to work for any department other than the lingerie department then you had to come back for a second interview, because that supervisor was doing the hiring for the lingerie positions. So this interview was a preliminary interview for me and since I wanted to work in stock or the "pink" room then I needed to get interviewed a 2nd time. The supervisor asked about 10 questions and you would volunteer to speak if that was the question you wanted to answer. Three people got to answer each question, so that we all had a chance to make our presence felt. My advice would be to try to be the first person to answer the questions so that you are not forgotten and so that you seem confident. But also allow others to answer some questions to be courteous. The questions were basic and easy to answer. We were told that our references would be called and checked the same day. We were also told that we would receive a call or card in the mail if we were not picked for the job, but I did not receive that courtesy. After a week of no response I called back to see if I made it to the 2nd interview but I was told that they were no longer going to hire anybody for the stock position and that the supervisor of the pink room would call me for the 2nd interview. I never got a call for from that supervisor. The interview was easy but that store did not fulfill their promises and seemed pretty unorganized in their effort to hire new workers.
