I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Sugar Land, TX) in Nov 2015
Interview
Applied online, got a call about 2 days later to come to the store for an interview. I wasn't informed it was a group interview until about 10 minutes beforehand. Although I arrived on time, we all ended up waiting about 25 mins for the manager to come out. The interview took place in the loud and crowded food court in the mall with about 6 other girls including me. This made it difficult for most girls to get even a few words in. 90% of the interview was the manager talking about store values and what days we had to be available (this was a seasonal position). Overall pretty easy and simple questions. We were then taken to the store to choose 3 items from the store and sell them to one of the managers. Although it was pretty hectic, it went by fast. Was offered a position 3 days later.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
