I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Ann Arbor, MI) in Dec 2015
Interview
I was brought into the office after waitng about 5 minutes for the manager. I was asked simple questions about customer service and about myself. The interviewer commented on my all black business casual and I think that along with displaying knowledge about customer service and having a lot of energy helped the manager in the process.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
