I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Boston, MA) in Jun 2013
Interview
it was a group interview. we all sat on a pane and had the managers ask us a variety of questions to determine if we were a good fit. we also had some 1 on 1 time to help the managers get to know us better which was useful for some of the girls who were more shy
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
