I applied in-person. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Laguna Hills, CA) in Oct 2012
Interview
Group interviews. Very casual. Dress business casual and be upbeat. Do research on the product and brand. The people who were quiet and reserved during the interview did not receive a job offer. When you apply there is a mini interview by a manager that determines if they will consider you for the job. Make sure your references are up to date because they call and speak to all three.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Pretend to sell me something. How would you help a customer without knowledge of the product?
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
