I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Salem, OR) in Oct 2014
Interview
High stressed group interviews! I was called in for a group interview with two other girls and was told to be expecting a call back with a decision. About three days later i was called back for a second interview only to end up with yet another group interview with six other girls. Three days later I got a letter in the mail stating I wasn't chosen. I don't see the porpoise in having someone come to two group interviews and have to deal with the high stress competition if your not going to offer them a job. Another thing that through me off was that the second interview I was called back for was all the other 6 girls first interview. I almost feel as though I was used for a spot filler second time arround. I always loved the company and wanted to work there but after that experience I'm now no longer enjoying even shopping there after finding out how the behind the scene hiring process goes.

Sell me something out of this box holding three items.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
