i turned in my resume and application on a day when the store manager was in, and she set a date for an interview right then. I met with the store manager a week after turning in my application and resume. When I went in I had to wait a few minutes so I just browsed the store until the manager came out from the back room, and then we went to find a group of seats where we conducted the interview

Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
