I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Chicago, IL) in Jan 2014
Interview
I printed an application online and brought it into the store. I was called 3 days later and asked to come in for a group interview. There were 10 girls total in the interview. We started out by going around and introducing ourselves, and then were asked some basic questions and filled out sheets giving our availability. I personally enjoy group interviews, but if you are shy you will probably not be hired.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
Name a good customer service you've had and explain why it was good.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
