Very easy. Took about a week. Dropped application off and was called in for an interview the next day and hired soon thereafter. Interview was a group interview with one manager.

Interview
Turned in application in store and surprisingly was called back within an hour. The interview was with a group of 5 other prospects and one interviewer. After working at VS for a while, I helped with a few rounds of hiring, which takes place in April - May before Semi-annual Sale that takes place in June and then of course Holiday time (hiring in October). We get hundreds of applications and honestly, it does not help to call the store asking to "check on your application" or "speak to a manager" about it, because it pretty much just disturbs the cashiers trying to help customers, since thats where the phones are. Managers usually just tell whoever answers the phone to tell the caller that they will call after they review applications. My VS, which was a smaller store, hires 30-40 people per season so most people are likely to get a call back within a week or two. Also, they DO call references after interviews before hiring anyone. Make sure you have those with you on your interview day!

Question 1
The questions are basic and then there are other questions called "ice breakers" usually different every hiring season as they are sent from corporate. In my interview, it was something random like, "If you could be any super hero, who would you be and why?" Questions to make you think of your toes.

Interview
It was a group interview. You usually go around and start with ice breakers by saying your name and something about yourself. Can be nerve racking if you don't like talking in a group. Just be yourself and be confident. They want someone who is going to be good at sales so definitely take initiative and answer the question first if you can.

Around the holidays, managers look for temporarily cash wrap leads. I applied through my manager. It was a group interview, there was about 3 of us. Interview took an hour, and there were 4-5 questions.
