I walked in to apply for a seasonal position, and was asked to join an interview for the following morning. They told me it would be a group interview. When I arrived the next morning, I was joined by 5 others as we waited for the manager to come out and tell us where she would be interviewing us. The minute the clock hit 10, the time of the interview, she began, even though she was expecting up to 4 more people. They came late, and she was nice about it, but you could tell she was not happy. The first question she asked us was which department we wanted to work in: Lingerie sales, PINK, Beauty, or Register. I chose PINK and Beauty, which she happened to be the manager of. It was kind of difficult to stand out among 8 other individuals, also because I have no job experience. She continued to ask us things such as what do you know about Victoria's Secret? and many scenarios of how we would respond to conflicts on the job. She also asked us for times in our lives when we solved problems with a coworker. It has been two weeks now and I have not been offered a position, and I think it was because they focused on people who had previous retail experience.
