I walked in to hand in my application that I had printed and filled out. A cashier asked if I wanted to hand it to the store manager and I agreed. A few minutes later, the store manager walked out and was extremely friendly and asked why I was interested. She then told me to come back a week later for my interview. My first official interview was with one of the department managers within the store. She asked the usual questions (What can you bring to the store, why do you want this job, strengths and weaknesses, what would you do if you saw someone stealing, etc.) and then at the end, she asked what department I would like to work in (Pink, beauty, or intimates). Because I wasn't very familiar with the areas, I told her I wasn't sure and asked what she thought. I ended up going with intimates (the bras and underwear section). A few days later, I got called back for my second interview. This time, it was with a group of 3 other girls and the store manager who I had originally handed my application to. She asked a lot of the same questions that were asked in the first interview. It seemed like she was just trying to get to know us and get a feel for our personalities. I got a call about a week later and was scheduled for onboarding. The onboarding process was about 4 or 5 hours and was with 2 or 3 others. We basically filled out our paperwork and learned about the company's rules and what to do in certain situations. The interview process might seem intimidating but just go in there dressed the part (in all black) and be confident. Try to answer first in group interviews and make sure you speak up. Don't be afraid to make an impression. Just be confident and be yourself. The VS company is all about diversity (personality, ethnicities, etc) and it's honestly a big family.
