I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret in Jun 2013
Interview
I applied in-store, handing my application and resume to the store manager. I received a call three weeks later and was offered an interview. It was a group interview with five other girls for a part-time position, although one girl had applied for management.
We went in the back of the store and the hiring manager told us about the interview process and a little bit about herself and VS. She then went down the line and asked us about prior employment and availability, stating that availability is a huge factor in the hiring process. When she asked me why I couldn't work after 11:30 p.m., I told her that Florida State Law doesn't allow 17 year olds to work after those hours and she told me that they didn't hire minors and she must have overlooked where I checked off that I wasn't 18 on the application, but she said she would talk to her other managers about it and we continued the interview.
She went down the line again asking regular interview questions, like why we wanted to work in VS, etc.

Question 1
Give me an example of bad customer service that you have experienced, and how would you do it differently?
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
