I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret
Interview
I went into the store to turn in an application and was offered an interview right away. I went to the interview and it was pretty easy, basic and the questions weren't that bad. The manager was really nice. She gave a time frame of when I would be notified if I was considered for a position. But she didn't give an exact time frame and wasn't totally sure of when she would be making calls to candidates. A little more than a week had passed and I decided to call the store who said that she would call me back before the day was up and yet I got no call. I've had similar issues with other VS stores that I've applied to in my area and honestly, it's pretty irritating. I've had an okay experience with VS and B&BW - both of these are brands within the company but I've had slightly negative interview and application/hiring processes with both of these stores - and truth be told, I may honestly never apply for any store within this company again after these experiences.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
