I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret (Yonkers, NY) in May 2013
Interview
I went on the cross county job offering page and saw that Victoria secret was hiring, and required us to fill out the application and bring it in the store. I brought in the application as well as my resume, and she said that if they wanted me they would call me within 2 weeks. I went in a 12:30ish and literally got a call at 12:45ish pm to come in for an interview for the next week. At the interview, she asked basic questions and seemed really into my answers. But the interview was at 10and she made me wait 30 minutes outside until she set up. The overall interview process was alright, she seemed nice, but she never offered me the job! Well go to hell :)
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
She asked questions like tell me a little bit about yourself, how do other job experiences help you be a good candidate for this job, what types of things do you usually buy at victoria secret, OH and now the different sections of the store ( for example pink, intimates, etc.), because she asked me what department would i most want to work in and why.
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
