I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Victoria's Secret in Nov 2010
Interview
A month after i first turned in my application, i was called to attend a group interview. I was with a group of five other women. Being 18 years old at that time, it was intimidating to be around a group of older women who have had managing experience and much long retail experience. I maintained my bubbly personality, but thought my answers were not spoken as intellectually as the others. Two weeks later, i received a phone call asking to come in for orientation. The manager said my young, bubbly personality would be perfect for Pink. The manager was very friendly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a good retail experience you've had as a customer
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
