Over the phone, short interview. Was told i will be getting another phone call within 48 hours, it's been 6 months. I guess that's just the way thr cookie crumbles
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Verizon (Dublin, GA) in Aug 2021
Interview
It was a ridiculous process, it went back and forth between store and corporate. They asked very broad questions that leave for the imagination to answer. They were nice, but you can tell you're just another number.

Question 1
Name a time when you dealt with a stressful situation at work?
What would you do if you are helping a customer, and a line of customers is getting long?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Verizon (Phoenix, AZ) in Aug 2021
Interview
First interview was done on the computer, simple.
Got a call to have a one on one with the store manager, but while on the phone was told that it is “team based commission” … so basically your commission will be capped by your coworkers performance and sales. If you have lazy, unmotivated coworkers - your commission will reflect that, even if you’re the highest sales person. It’ll eventually turn sour in the workplace and create resentment towards your fellow coworker, instead of creating a competitive atmosphere.
Might be what some like, but for a retail and sales position, this is a terrible structure.

Why Verizon?
How would you handle a “difficult” customer?
