I submitted my resume and was contacted a few hours later via email by a recruiter. We communicated via email to setup a time for a thirty-minute call. There was some difficulty initially with getting the call setup as the recruiter wasn't very responsive to my emails. I finally received an email basically saying "sorry, I thought I responded to you". Not a good look, but okay, things happen. We finally had our call that went fairly well. Typical interview questions. At the end of the call, the recruiter said he would send my package over to the SE Manager to setup a time for me to speak with him. I was asked to provide my availability for a specific day, which I did. Two days later (the day I provided available times for), I still had not heard back from the recruiter. At that point, I emailed the recruiter and thanked them for their time and the opportunity and withdrew my resume for consideration. Something as basic as timely communications shouldn't be an issue, but it was. It didn't leave me with a positive impression.
