first was an introduction interview, then a technical one, afterwards the 3 hours test, then another technical and HR

Question 1
write a program that reads 3 files and combined them into a fourth file.
Reading/writing should be with different threads, reading threads should be running simultaneously.
All words should be sorted lexicographically lower case, duplicates should only be written once.
the program should print the most frequent word in all 3 files and its count.
the program should ask the user for sorting order and spacing char.
Two people team asks algo question, in my case it was two. The pro is to use own editor not strange apps. Very short intro and straight to work. Strange no actual domain questions were asked
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Varonis Systems (Herzliya) in May 2025

First there was a phone call, then two hours technical interview via zoom with the team lead and then another 2 hours technical interview in person with another team lead

Interview
The interview process at Varonis started with a pleasant conversation with the recruiter, who provided details about the role and the company. This was followed by a technical interview, which covered relevant coding and system design topics. Unfortunately, I did not advance past the technical stage, but overall, the experience was professional and well-structured.
