I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Vans (Mercedes, TX) in Aug 2013
Interview
Well when I started it was one on one with the store manager. It was very relaxed and quick. However, now they do interviews in groups. It's easier to weed out the ones who are not very social like this.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Vans (San Juan, PR) in Mar 2015
Interview
Very laid back. It was more of a get to know you and see if your personality and style fits with the brand. They also put you through some situations where you would have to make some decisions or to tell them past experiences that you had to deal with and how did you manage to over come it.

Question 1
Tell me a situation where you had to deal with a difficult costumer and how did you resolved it?
I applied in-person. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Vans (Jersey City, NJ) in Jun 2015
Interview
I was purchasing a pair of sk8-hi's, when the assistant manager asked me if I was looking for a job. I wasn't at the time, but I still took her up on the offer because of the location; It was closer to me than the job I had at the time. As soon as I got home I applied to Vans online and called the manager I met at the time to let her know that I applied to the job. After a couple of weeks I received a call for my actual interview, I showed up on-time with my resume. I spoke with the assistant manager for about five minutes and she told me I got the job because she liked my style and thought that I could wear the brand well. I didn't start working at Vans until two weeks after than interview, so, a month after our initial meet. It also took very long for me to start working at Vans because the system was acting up.
