It was a frontend interview on hackerrank platform. There was three screens for html, css and JavaScript, asked to create a navigation component. HR informed me that it was going to be a data structures round with no language restriction. But in interview I found out it was a core skills round instead.
Conducted 2 rounds on Same day.
You will get a positive feeling that interview went well.
You will have a confidence about outcome because of your self evaluation. But next day you will receive a rejection mail and you will never know exactly why.
I think you need more than just a good interview to get into vmware.
