A recruiter reached out to me to set a phone interview. After that, the recruiter set a Zoom interview with one of the execs on the team. The person set to interview me didn't show up at the set time. When I called, the recruiter was very professional and apologized, then rescheduled the meeting. For the rescheduled meeting, the person was 20 mins late and wasn't the person the recruiter told me would be interviewing me. At this point I was annoyed with the lack of professionalism, but I really admire the team and figured they were busy. I was asked to do coverage and submit before a third, in-person interview. The in-person interview included a four person team. It lasted about 30 mins and was interrupted not once, but twice, to the point they cut the interview short to take care of some meeting. After that demoralizing encounter, it took them two weeks to have a recruiter call me and reject me. They dragged me along for more than a month, and as someone between jobs, it was extremely demoralizing and a waste of precious time. To be honest, I expected more from a company as big as NBCU. I think they post a lot of fake postings and bring in external candidates to meet some quota before they shut the position down, as months have passed and there is no one on that team with the advertised position.
