The whole interview process went smoothly even if it was a bit long due to the holiday season. It was a pleasure to speak will all the interviewers, who were all very kind and professional.
The process started when I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn, with whom I talked on the phone the day after.
The week after, I had a short call with the technical director. This led to an artistic and technical take-home test. There was then a follow-up video call with a technical artist in San Francisco to review the test. I was also asked some technical questions about the engine during this call.
This was followed by a round of zoom video interviews some weeks later. During these, we talked about projects I worked on before and I was also questioned about how I tackled technical problems in them. I was asked some more behavioral questions during these calls as well.
After a reference check, I met with the team on-site in Montreal for one last round of interviews. There, I spoke with a senior product manager and the members of the team I already knew.
The whole process was very edifying and every minute of it was worth it!
