The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Unity (Montreal, QC) in Oct 2019
Interview
Screening call, then two video calls (non-technical and technical), lasting about an hour each.
The second round was a morning on-site for interviews, lunch with the team & a tour of their offices.
Stages were around a week apart with feedback during the first round.

Question 1
Technical questions were typical of most game studio interviews I've had for generalist positions - broad discussion of rendering, linear algebra, networking, performance etc., going into depth where possible.
Applied online, received an email for recruiter phone screen after several weeks. Scheduled a phone interview a few days later. After the phone screen interview, I received a coding test. After passing the coding test, had an interview with one of the senior engineers of the team
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Unity (Montreal, QC) in Sep 2019
Interview
Fairly long process that gave me the opportunity to talk with many of my future colleagues and really get to know what would be excepted of me. The whole process was composed of 3 phone interviews and one 4 hours long on site interview. About half of the process was very technical and included live coding. The other half was more traditional social skills and "getting to know you".
