Easy to medium-easy leetcode style questions on codility.
I applied online. I interviewed at Unity in Apr 2021
Interview
They were very nice and informative through out the interview process.
The initial coding test was fairly simple and I was given the option to code in whatever programming language I preferred, which was great.
Around 2 weeks later I was invited to schedule the first interview, which was a 15 minute phone screening done by HR. The HR person was super nice and great about scheduling (or rescheduling due to any problems). She guided me through what the rest of the process would look like, what all the steps are and what to expect from the upcoming interview rounds if I were to reach them.
I heard back about each of the next rounds pretty promptly. The next interview was about 30 minutes long with a team manager and it was pretty laid back. I was asked questions about my background and coding experience. I wasn't asked anything too technical and there was no on the spot coding test.
After that I was asked to interview with two team members back to back, half an hour each. This round allowed me and the team members to ask each other questions and get more familiar with each other.
They followed by asking me for references and within a week after that I was offered the position.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Unity (Montreal, QC) in Mar 2021
Interview
From beginning to end it was a very enjoyable process. I was contacted by a recruiter for a ~20 minute zoom call followed by 2 more interviews with the hiring manager and a developer on the team. Every step along the way I was updated and informed about the process which resulted in minimal stress levels.
