I applied online. I interviewed at Unity (San Francisco, CA) in Aug 2017
Interview
Met with team lead in the office for the first meeting, which was a little unusual. He was a no-nonsense guy who really cut to the heart of why I was applying with them and my background. After that, I was invited back to meet his team for a day. 4 1-hour interviews, half tech, half behavioral(ish). Then finally invited back a third time to meet the director and the lead engineer, in what was another difficult but interesting discussion of the unit I would be joining.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Least amount of coins of different denominations of coins to pay a bill. Find how many 0's are adjacent to each other in a 2-dimensional matrix.
Thanks so much for your review and glad that you had a challenging and positive interview experience. Exploring your intent and capabilities is such a key part of the process. Glad you were able to get a sense of what the full team experience was like and that you decided to join us here at Unity. Welcome!
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Unity (Birmingham, Inglaterra)
Interview
Got contacted by their internal recruiter, decided to give it a chance. First there was a brief phone chit-chat with HR, than few days later a call with a technical guy from the team I would work at. After that I was brought for on-site interview. The whole process was rather short, interview questions were easy.

Question 1
How would you design a modern rendering architecture?
Thanks for participating in our interview process and for writing a review. Sounds like we could have given you more challenging questions and that you were right for the role. Hopefully in the future there will be another opportunity that looks like a great fit for you and we'll get another go-round.
I applied online. I interviewed at Unity (Bellevue, WA) in Jun 2017
Interview
Phone screen with recruiter and then phone screen with Tech Lead. I then completed a take home bug hunt and discussed the results with Tech Lead and another developer. After that I came in and did an on-site interview with a fair number of developers. Interviews were friendly and a mixture of technical questions (but no white-boarding) and discussion of my experience. Offer was extended the next day!

Question 1
Lots of technical details of C++ and OO programming.
Wonderful review for the interview process with our Bellevue team. I imagine that you've had to whiteboard now that you are here though! ;) Thanks so much for the feedback and we hope you are enjoying your time with us!
