Unity interview questions

I'm writing about my experience to warn people not to apply for Unity at this time. I interviewed with Unity in September and received an offer from them after 2-3 weeks of interviewing. The process itself was not too complicated and genuinely enjoyed talking to all the engineers and managers during the interview process. This led me to accepting the offer though I had to postpone my start date to January in order prepare for my move to the west coast and other personal matters. I was fine with an earlier start date if needed but the recruiter assured me that starting after the holidays would be fine. Unfortunately that was not true. Just a few days before I was suppose to start, my hiring manager sent me an email that he needed to urgently talk to me. This was just after I received my welcome email and instructions for onboarding for my first day. He regretfully informed me that my offer rescinded due to financial reasons and the current economic outlook. This sudden decision left me unemployed and unable to return to my previous job as well as having to break my lease and cancel my move. I emailed the HR for any help during this time and they replied to me they are not obligated to give me any compensation or help for my lost because my offer was at will. While they are legally allowed to rescind my offer, their choice and how they handle the situation shows the lack of responsibility for their actions and compassion for their employees.
