Interview
Positive recruitment experience.
1. I had a screening call with Bex (recruiter). She described the role and checked my background, motivation.
2. I was contacted by Nik (recruitment coordinator). He notified me that I was selected for the next step - 1:1 with a hiring manager. Nik asked me to choose timeslots to organize the call and provided me with all information that might be needed to prepare for the interview.
3. Interview with Tracy (the hiring manager). It went exactly how Nik explained before - informal conversation to check my skills and background deeper as well as to describe the role and give more insights about it. Also, Tracy gave me enough time to ask my questions, and she was very open to answering them.
4. I got a refusal because of lacking some essential skills for that role. However, I didn't feel disappointed since Bex provided me with detailed feedback on my candidacy, and I got some insights on what I should improve.
Summing up, a very professional recruitment process from the start to an end. I'll definitely apply for new roles in Unity in the future.

Interview
I had first applied to a Lead Support Engineer role but they had already proceeded with someone else; however, I was quickly referred to the Support Engineer position. The interview process was very straight forward with a initial call with a recruiter explaining the job and then a couple of questions about how you fit into the role with past job experiences and skills. After that I was sent a take-home assignment that needed to be done before the call and then presented to other engineers in a video call followed up by scenarios about how you would go about solving technical issues and explaining some networking stuff. After the conference call with engineers, the recruiter followed up to catch-up on how everything went, shortly after that we set a call with one of the directors of the team I would be working with. And last but not least final calls with recruiters to provide references to then proceed to the offer stage. The recruiters did a fantastic job on keeping in touch, finding times that work for you, making sure any questions were answered while also giving me details about the culture at Unity. Overall the recruiters were awesome, I've never been treated with such care at past interviews with other companies before. The calls with the team were also very engaging as well as they felt like having a conversation. Even though it might seem like the process took a while it could have been due to the Coronavirus happening in the world.

Interview
Applied online, got contacted by their recruiter in a week or so. The recruiter didn't seem to have read my CV prior to the conversation at all, and seemed a bit confused and distracted. The requirements listed generic machine learning skills (which I have) and some niche computer vision experience (which I have only partially). The recruiter said that it's fine and they don't expect a perfect candidate anyway, so he progressed me to the technical interview round.
The technical interview with a hiring manager was arranged shortly. The first question the interviewer asked me was "Ok, so what did our recruiter tell you about this job?" And in 9 out of 10 cases you know what follows after that: it turns out that any major or minor details about the job mentioned by the recruiter were false. It was indeed the case. The hiring manager was looking for both generic ML and computer vision experience, but it didn't seem to have successfully registered with the recruiter. Once it was clear, I apologised for wasting the guy's time, and we had a small chat out of politeness for five minutes.
Many third-party recruiters tend to waste both candidate's and employer's time like this, but it certainly is the first time in my nearly 20 years of job hunting when it's done by an internal recruiter who actually works for the company.

Question 1
Didn't get to actual questions, since internal recruiter significantly misrepresented the requirements for this job to me.
