I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Unity (Vilna) in Nov 2021
Interview
I had a total of four interviews.
The whole process took place remotely.
The first interview was with a Unity recruiter. It was a very comfortable and professional meeting. We talked about my previous experience. At the end, the recruiter suggested I consider a position for a higher position in the near future, as there were no openings at that time. I agreed.
The second step was to meet with the QA manager, but it wasn't a regular interview since the position wasn't open yet. We went on to talk about my experience and possible prospects.
A short time later there was a 3rd and 4th step with the hiring managers. They were similar, but with different people. The focus was on professional behavior and problem-solving experiences. We shared best practices with each other.
Finally, I got a test assignment.
After completing it, I got an offer.
I was happy that unity offered me the best position that didn't even exist at the time. Overall, all interviews were very comfortable and professional.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Unity in Dec 2021
Interview
HR is pretty straightforward. 1st call starts to ask for numbers, and it sounds like if you are looking for something higher, we are not offering. Here is the number for this job, would you like to proceed.
Team is really nice. Good people. Medium difficulty interview. Lots of BQ.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Unity (Montreal, QC) in Feb 2022
Interview
Firstly, it's a 20-min interview with HR and she asked some questions about my background to fit me in the right position. Afterwards, it's a 2-hour codility test and two rounds of 1-hour interview with the team leader and team members. The whole procedure is exceptionally smooth. Amélie Côté is absolutely the best HR ever. I feel anxiety quite easily, and Amélie encouraged me, kept me informed and replied to my emails quickly throughout the whole procedure. It's unbelievable that she can provide such good support remotely. After this I just want to say that don't hesitate to have an interview with Unity and join Unity, it feels good. :)
