I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Unity (Brighton, Inglaterra) in Nov 2019
Interview
I was contacted by an internal recruiter via Linkedin since my profile matched several of their open positions. After a 20 minute call, where we mainly talked about the job responsibilities and some of my background, a video call with a Lead Software Developer was organized for the following week.
The video-call was a very interesting and relaxed conversation, talking about my current job, technologies I have used and software development methodologies. It was a two-way chat where I was also exposed to some of the team's day-to-day work. Right after I was contacted with positive news and an on-site technical interview was organized. The on-site was basically to prove that my C++ knowledge, as well as my problem solving skills were on point and the HR coordinator showed me the office and some of the perks and benefits that working there had. Only around 4 days after, I got a conditional offer based on giving having 2 satisfactory references from previous managers which I ended up accepting.
I am really impressed on how efficient the HR team was throughout the whole recruitment process, they were extremely responsive and flexible, especially Abi and Nik.
Ask the project you did. Basically focus on what you did
Ask you how you help other people. You manner.
With shared screen code interview.
That is all what I can say.
Interview process typically includes application screening, initial HR call, technical or skill assessments, one or more interviews with managers or panels, and final evaluation leading to offer or rejection decision.
The interview process was thoughtful and engaging. The design question and home application task, covering both backend and frontend, were well-structured, challenging, and provided a great way to showcase real-world skills.
