Interview
I was offered a Hirevue video interview after I submitted my resume to Delta Airlines. They contacted me by email within the hour after receiving my resume. The first place I went to is the Hirevue website. I wanted to know how the interview worked and also if I could read about the experience from other users. I also found the reviews on Glassdoor and interview experience very helpful. The first advice I would suggest is to prepare as much as you need your answers to common interview questions. You will find doing a simple Google search as a good starting point. Hirevue is easy to use. I used my Iphone and the Hirevue app. I did not hate this type of interview as much as I thought I would. In fact, it was rather a pleasant experience. You have the opportunity to do as many practice interviews as you need. Do that! You will be much more confident in the actual interview if you do. As I said, I used my iphone with the Hirevue app this would work just as well with your tablet or computer. I can't stress enough how important it is to treat this as if it was a face to face interview. Dress appropriately, in business attire. I have read in other reviews that people had four questions. I had six, but they were not difficult. Preparation is the key and will help you. Some final details. You can take as much time as you want between questions. Just remember you have only 30 seconds to form your answer before the clock starts and then you must answer within the two-minute time limit. Question 1
Why should we hire you? What are your skills to do this job?
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Unifi (Shreveport, LA) in May 2022
Interview
I was called into my direct supervisor, the station manager's, office, and we began the interview after introducing ourselves. After confirming the position, application details, etc., I was asked the typical, expected interview questions, ranging from questions about myself and history to situational, "what-if" questions. The interviewer also had a form with my name already on it they were jotting down brief response notes on, along with my resume beside it printed out. I was then offered a job on the spot and began on boarding paperwork and completed the drug test as well within 15 minutes after conclusion of the interview.
