I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at US Postal Service
Interview
It is long and drawn out. Too many hurdles and you will get disqualified for the simplest of things. Take for instance, one speeding ticket and your out. Everyone makes mistakes but the postal service doesn't see it that way.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Chapel Hill, NC) in May 2019
Interview
Very informal. I met with a woman who oversaw the hiring of maybe 50 different post offices. I basically had the job if I wanted it. She was pretty open and honest on what to expect. I decided not to move on.

Question 1
Are you prepared to drive your own vehicle and have Saturday be your only guaranteed day to start?
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Lake George, NY) in Oct 2018
Interview
The interview process was incredibly informal and it was even indicated by the interviewer that the whole process was a formality, as USPS is in desperate need of RCAs. This allowed for a very relaxed and conversational format.
