About 40 minutes long; half of it they talked about themselves and what was going on in their lives. They asked how you would handle angry customers, why you should be chosen for the position, and if you could multitask. After you are chosen, you go for the drug and background checks. Then you go through Orientation for 2 days. Then you go to Driver's Training which is also two days. Then you go to Rural Academy. You get paid for all the training and orientation which lasts about 8 hrs/day. After Rural Academy, you go to your office, and ride with your carrier for 2 to 3 days and then they allow you to run the route. This whole process took me 3 months, but it doesn't always take that long. They were backlogged at that time, and we got held back because of snow.
