The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service (New York, NY)
Interview
Group interview of at least 100 people. HR reviewed our paperwork and Post master interviewed us. We were either recommended for the job or not. Whole process took about 5 1/2 hours. I was asked about 5-6 easy questions and was recommended. She said that I should hear back within a week.
I applied online. I interviewed at US Postal Service (New York, NY) in Oct 2018
Interview
I applied online on 9/10/18, took the exam on 9/20 and about 5 days later I received an email to come in for an interview. There were about 80+ people. The supervisor of customer service went over the position, pay, dress code etc. We also updated our applications and checked to make everything was accurate (please go on your USPS profile and list where you worked for the last five years with no gaps. It will save you a lot of time. They will make you fill it out at the interview so don’t be lazy like I was and only attach a resume lol). After about an hr or so they begin the interviewing process (1 on 1). They ask you pretty basic questions and I feel like if they like you they will recommend you for the job. After your interview you cannot leave . They will call your name and let you know when it is ok to go. All they tell you is good luck and to pay attention to your email. Keep in mind the USPS goes by your exam score. I scored a 79.70. Thankfully they were hiring a lot of people. A week and some change later I received an email for the drug and background check.
