LONG... I had worked with one post office, so after filling out the online information and then scheduling the exam and passing, they scheduled the interview with the postmaster I had worked for and the one I would be working for. I took the test in the fall, interviewed in October, and started training in February 2012.

Since I knew both of them, it was more like a reunion than an interview. Wedid go through the questions, but there weren't any difficult ones.

Interview
You take a brain dead test on a computer that involves basic reading comprehension and memorization. Once you pass they call you into to fill out a ton of paperwork and take a drug test.

Interview
Must have experience and knowledge using computers and are able to come in early hours in the wee morning. You have to fill out a 991 form to list all of your experience and all of your schools also. If you are able to type more that 50 words a minute, you will have a good shot at the job.
