Interview
I applied over 7 times before they sent me the 473 exam but the last time Applied on June 26th invited to online exam on the same day then had to set up a exam at one of their locations for June 29th.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at US Postal Service (San Diego, CA)
Interview
You start of in a group setting where they will go over the standard information of the job and show you a video of the actual job so you have a visual of what is required.Next you will fill out paper work and review you paper work as well (I suggest have your phone #s and addresses saved to your phone, you will NOT have a signal). **You will be asked to write a few sentences on why you should be picked for the job (answer in apx 3-6 lines and write clearly!
>You will be asked to explain if you have ever been fired or left a job that you would be fired from. Have all info with you.
>You will sit with a screener for about 5 mins
>You will sit and watch fill while you wait to be called
>>>The interview in one on one and somewhat streamlined. you can expect maybe 10 Q&A at the most and a 10-30sec pitch on why you should be picked.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Dora, AL) in Jun 2018
Interview
Initially took a test to determine my eligibility. I was then scheduled a job interview at a predetermined date and time. Eight people were all there at the same time for the job interview. The earlier you get there, the sooner you interview because they go in order of how you signed in. I was there for almost 2 hours before I interviewed. It was a very easy and laid back interview. She just basically went over my work history and only asked one question.
