I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Houston, TX) in Oct 2015
Interview
Took about a month to get an interview but it was pretty easy. Postmaster just explained expectations and confirmed job requirements. No interview questions. Asked if I had a reliable car and that if I needed to for any reason I would even possibly have to rent a car to have a way to deliver mail.
He also said they take priority if I have another job.
The overall experience was great. I felt comfortable from beginning to end.

Interview
Apply. Simple process. The position was posted on their career's site. I applied and within a month I began training. There's not much of an interview process. Just an extensive background check. Once that is satisfied, the process is pretty quick.
There is no interview. You stop by the assigned post office and meet the post master. It was not clear this is a part time position or who to ask questions to.

Interview
No interview required was required to apply for this position. I applied for the position, took the required exam, went through a very roundabout process, then received an offer within a few weeks.
