I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Little Rock, AR) in Mar 2013
Interview
Was notified within a couple days that i would have an interview at the main post office and that if I couldn't make I would not be considered for any position in the future. Previously they had me take tests to make sure I could accurately read and remember addresses. the interview was more of a meeting with all the applicants where we were given our scores on the test. then they described the job in a manner that would scare away potential workers. Those who stayed got the job.

Any previous experience with a similar job? (only question asked)
No interview. Received an email with a job offer and orientation was scheduled a few weeks later. Called the postmaster on the job listing to get more information in between the offer and orientation.

Question 1
No questions were asked as there was not an interview process.
Not really an interview. If you pass the background check you have the job. The United States Postal Service does not require a traditional interview. Very easy. I love it here.

Interview
There was no interview. I pretty much just took a test and they sent me back a conditional offer. When I got to my orientation with 3 other people they all had the same experience.
