Short and sweet. But the process after the interview "Academy Training " is Critical. If you fail at any part of the process training, it will be six months before you can test again.
I applied online. I interviewed at US Postal Service (Williston, ND) in Aug 2017
Interview
This was the easiest and most comfortable interview of my life. The Postmaster is a very nice man with an easy-going but very professional attitude. He is personable and doesn't need your whole life story to get to the job requirements. He is open about the job and answers all questions. I will be in training for 2 weeks, about 5 hours away, so the USPS is paying for that time and trip. Once Hired, the process gets moving.
I applied online. I interviewed at US Postal Service (San Bernardino, CA) in Jan 2017
Interview
I was interviewed by a postmaster. She was very nice. I was asked why I would be a great candidate for the position? My work history? What I was looking to get out of the position. The interview only lasted like ten minutes. There were like maybe 2 other questions but she kept it pretty simple.
