I applied online. I interviewed at US Postal Service (New York, NY) in Nov 2014
Interview
I applied for the 473 Exam about a month ago and passed, I believe passing is a score of 70. Anyhow, I received an email from USPS 3 weeks later stating they would like to interview me for possible employment as a CCA; a position I applied for earlier! Prior to interview, they also sent me for urine test and had a background check performed. The interview was performed a few days later. Me and and about 29 other candidates showed up in a classroom like setting. The instructors stated the duties and wages of CCA, and what is expected from us. After giving out each of our pre filled applications the interviews began. Interviews are pretty simple, and have standard questions with some USPS situations. Interviewer was helpful, and beforehand told me this is easy and not to be nervous! After interview was over, followed up with head instuctor to see if all paperwork is in order while asking why should I be hired? After answering, instructor informed me to check email and spam for their answer. Also said might take few weeks, due to enourmous volume of applicants!

Interview
There are multiple steps you have to go through before you go in for an interview. Such as getting as drug test, taking the postal test at there facility, and then waiting about a month to get called in for an interview. Even after the interview it doesn't mean you have the job you have to got through training and if you don't pass that you don't get the position. Once in you have a three day On the job training period.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The most difficult thing about my interview wasn't the questions it was the negative attitude of the person interviewing me. She told me on multiple occasions you're going to hate this job... your supervisors will hate you and so will the regulars. WHO DOES THAT!? She then proceeded to say oh but you're pretty and funny so that should help a little. HUH? Very unprofessional.

Interview
After taking the postal exam a week later i was called in for a interview and emailed a 10 page form to fill out. When i got there, 7 other people were waiting to get their forms checked over and filled out, most had problems with some parts of the forms. After checking in 20 minutes later a interview with a few questions about your reactions to various issues you may have at work, such as confrontations and drama etc. The job was explained to be a temporary 1 year hire, and repeat if you proved to be a good worker etc.
