US Army interview questions

The Army interview process begins with a recruiter discussion, followed by aptitude testing, medical screening, and a formal pre‑enlistment interview at MEPS, ending with job selection, contract signing, and the Oath of Enlistment ceremony afterward.

The interview process was straightforward and primarily focused on leadership potential, physical and mental readiness, and commitment to Army standards. I was asked about my background, ability to lead soldiers in high-pressure environments, and future goals. There was also an emphasis on discipline, training progression, and professional development, including questions about attending advanced schools such as Ranger School.
