I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at UPS (Yarmouth, MA) in Nov 2013
Interview
Group setting at warehouse, very casual. I was late so I went alone, basic questions. Was more of an orientation and offer. I think there was a background check but I dont remember, no physical or drug test but must clearly indicate you have no physical limitations or ergonomic deficiencies.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS (Bound Brook, NJ) in Oct 2013
Interview
EASY. The interview consists of checking your pulse to make sure that you are indeed alive. If you pass this thorough process, then you're essentially hired. You sit down in a group, watch a horrible instructional/welcome video. Go over a few obligatory safety and hazard rules. Then you go into a room and they ask what region would you like to work in.
I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at UPS (Grand Prairie, TX) in Dec 2014
Interview
I went in for the open house, signed my name on a sheet, listened to people talk explaining what it was like working there and all the benefits, created an account online, waited for them to call me in for the interview which lasted maybe fiveish minutes, it was real laid back and easy, she just asked basic information questions and typed stuff in at the computer.
